Lingerie & Nightwear Show Fiasco

Road Trip Roadhouse and bar in Dover last month had a lingerie & nightwear show and two of the local bar owners faced jail time for putting on this show. Except this isn’t the first time the show has been done there.

Co-owner Susan Ferguson said it’s no different than it was three year ago and she had no idea she was doing anything wrong until the media asked her to respond to charges.

She said that they were blind sided. They had no clue that they had even had charges filed against them, she added.

She didn’t deny the fact that a lingerie show took place and says it was even advertised.

Ferguson said they’re in lingerie; and they have all the doors and windows covered. They also have somebody at the door carding. They didn’t let anyone under 21, in.

But there’s this one thing Ferguson says didn’t happen which was any nude dancing. Despite what Ferguson says, the Olmsted County Sheriff says the bar violated a city ordinance and that’s all that matters.

Two undercover officers who were monitoring the show approached her, after nearly 3 hours into the show.

Olmsted County Sheriff, Captain Bill Reiland said that they did wrongfully allow the display of less than completely and opaquely covered human buttocks and simulated sexual activities while dancing.

The complaint is pointing out one of the dancers that apparently pressed customers faces between her breasts while shaking them. And the same woman also gave a few lap dances.

If convicted, Ferguson could face a maximum of 90 days in jail, a thousand dollar fine, or both.

Ferguson said that people have had a very enjoyable time for three years. And they have never had a fight. They’ve never had any problems. She added that if there was a problem, officers or the city should’ve done something sooner.

Dover city council members have the authority to invalidate the bar’s business license. A constituent we spoke with says he doesn’t suppose that’s necessary but the bar should be punished.

Group hosts charity fashion luncheon

A group that calls itself The Pyjama Foundation is set to host an inaugural charity fashion luncheon for the benefit of children.

The Pyjama Foundation will host the luncheon at The Waves Sports Club for the benefit of foster children. The raised funds are set to be used to help improve the foster children’s literacy and regain their trust in adults. The event will kick off with a parade.

Pyjama Foundation co-ordinator and luncheon organiser Cressida Toorenburg said there will be about 80 people who are set to attend the event, which will also feature a fashion show by Targo St boutique Vovo Modelle.

The Pyjama Foundation coordinator also said that there will also be a display from different businesses including Nathan’s Boutique, Zazi the mineral make-up, Linda Forward will be doing hats and Robyn Wust will be doing glass jewelry.

An auction will also be held, featuring donated items including paintings, paint vouchers, wheel alignments and jewellery.

About 10 businesses in the Wide Bay area would this year participate in their Pyjama Day, by dressing in pyjamas at work or school. All funds raised go towards training our volunteers who go into the homes of foster children to improve their literacy.

Nightwear helps Kendra Wilkinson’s love life

Former Playboy model Kendra Wilkinson revealed that her love life has significantly improved following the weight loss with the help of some slinky nightwear. She increased her weight during her pregnancy of her first child with husband Hank Baskett. Cartoon Network expands brand material to include nightwear, other apparel

Cartoon Network is planning to expand its branded material for this year via the production of nightwear, loungewear and other apparel.

International licensing on a number of children’s animation has become a trend the past few years with backpacks, stationary, underwear and t-shirts now branded with some of the most popular cartoons.

Last month, the network announced that it is bringing back many of its original characters for a classic line of t-shirts and other clothing. These original characters include Johnny Bravo, Samurai Jack and Dexter of “Dexter’s Laboratory.” This will be made possible via a two-year licensing agreement signed with apparel manufacturer Mighty Fine, Inc.

Mighty Fine has produced a number of Cartoon Network apparel in the past including the one for the “The Powerpuff Girls.” Aside from t-shirts, the agreement includes knit tops, nightwear and fleecewear. Additional characters such as Ed, Courage the Cowardly Dog and Cow & Chicken are included.

Woman in nightgown shots husband on street – authorities

The Atlanta police revealed that a woman wearing only a women’s nightwear and shower cap shot her husband on Midtown street on early Tuesday morning. The husband died on the spot. The incident happened in front of several witnesses.

Witness Keenan Harris told the media that they heard five gunshots made by the suspect. The authorities were immediately summoned to the area where they found a woman walking along the street toward Georgia Tech. When apprehended, the discovered that she was carrying a handgun in her pocket.

Harris said they tried to help the victim but he was already dead.

Initial investigation findings showed that the shooting was triggered by the couple having an argument. There was no indication as to what caused the misunderstanding. The investigation is still ongoing and the witnesses are still being interrogated by the authorities.
